LNWR 4-4-0 Precursor Class No 1787 'Hyperion' stands fully coaled and watered in front of Rugby No 1 shed. Built by Crewe works in May 1906, No 1787 was renumbered by the LMS in February 1927 as No 5282 which it carried until it was withdrawn from service in December 1930.
