LNWR 0-8-0 Class C No 1859 is seen at the head of a coal train passing through Rugby circa 1922. The leading Private Owner wagon has the legend 'WM Cory' on the side. Rebuilt from a Class A locomotive in 1911, No 1859, seen carrying a small boiler, was renumbered as LMS No 8994 before being withdrawn from service in 1930.
