LNWR 4-6-0 Claughton Class No 2239 'Frederick Baynes' approaches Clifton Road Junction as another Claughton is seen on a down service from Northampton. Built by Crewe works in September 1914, No 2239 was renumbered as LMS No 2918 in April 1927 which it carried until March 1935 when it was withdrawn from service.
