Ex-LMS 2-8-0 8F No 48120 is seen derailed having left the tracks near to Rugby's coaling station. Built as LMS No 8120 at Crewe works to Lot 149, No 48120 had been transferred to 2A Rugby shed in April 1959 and remained there until January 1965 when it was transferred to 2B Oxley shed remaining in service until January 1966 when it was withdrawn from 6B Mold Junction shed to be scrapped by J Cashmore's of Great Bridge. The head fitter is another former work mate of John Kirby who he would welcome the chance to put names to faces and especially being able to meet up with former mates.
