Ex-LMS 5XP Patriot Class 4-6-0 No 45503 'The Royal Leicestershire Regiment' departs Rugby station on an up goods service in 1954. Built by Crewe works in July 1932, No 45503 was allocated its number by British Railways in May 1948 which it carried in service until August 1961 when it was withdrawn from 12B Upperby shed to be scrapped by Crewe works.
