Ex-MR 0-6-0 No 43795 heads a Class K pick up freight service past the ex-Midland Railway signal box at Rugby Wharf on 19th July 1955. A Class K was categorised by British Railways as a 'Freight, mineral or ballast train stopping at intermediate stations; branch freight train'. Built by Derby works in October 1904, No 43795 was a member of the MR's 2736 Class and remained in service until April 1957 when it was withdrawn from 18A Toton shed to be scrapped by Derby works.
