Ex-LMS 5XP 4-6-0 No 45554 'Ontario' and Stanier 'Class 5' 4-6-0 No 44689 stand in steam after being coaled and watered. Built as LMS No 5554 by Crewe works in June 1934, No 45554 was to remain in service until November 1964 when it was withdrawn from 5A Crewe North shed to be scrapped.
