Ex-LMS 4-6-2 Coronation Class No 46243 'City of Lancaster' heads the up Royal Scot past Rugby No 1 Signal Cabin. Built by Crewe works in streamlined form in June 1940, it was renumbered by British Railways in April 1948 which it retained until October 1964 when it was withdrawn from 8A Edge Hill shed to be scrapped.
