This aerial view of the northern approaches shows Hunters lineside repair works located in the 'V' between the Leicester line and the exchange sidings. An ex-LNWR 0-8-0 'Super D' can be seen at the bottom of the photograph heading a long down goods train, made up of empty open wagons. To the right there appears to be an LMS 0-6-0T 'Jinty' shunting whilst a little further to the right is another ex-LNWR 0-8-0 standing light engine in the yard.
