A 1930 panoramic aerial view of Rugby's northern approaches with the BTH works providing the backdrop. The most striking feature of this photograph is the number of open wagons to be seen, both in the exchange sidings and the sidings located in Rugby's yard, BTH's reception lines as well as the sidings serving Thomas Hunter's two works. Part of Hunter's lineside workshop can be seen on the left adjacent to the MR line to Leicester whilst its main works are to be seen on the extreme right.
