A panoramic aerial view of the former Midland Railway's Leicester line entering the northern approach to Rugby station in 1930. The tall chimney belongs to Rugby's 'Refuse Destructor Plant' whilst to the right is the sewage works and pumping station. The road on the left which passes under the former MR's line to Leicester ran from Newbold Road to the refuse plant.
