Rugby Shed: lnwrrm659

A clean ex-LMS 2-8-0 8F No 48526 carrying its home '2A' Rugby shed plate is seen reposed inside of Rugby's new shed. The amount of light is very noticeable in the new shed which appears not to have any method of removing smoke. Built as LMS No 8526 by Doncaster Plant in December 1944 it remained in service until August 1966 when it was withdrawn from Stoke-on-Trent shed to be scrapped during December 1966 by J Cashmore of Great Bridge.
