Ex-LMS 8P 4-6-2 Coronation class Pacific No 46245 'City of London' is seen entering the station on an up express. Originally streamlined, No 46245 was built at Crewe works in June 1943 and lasted until October 1964 when withdrawn from Crewe North shed to be scrapped in December 1964 by J Cashmore of Great Bridge. 31st May 1962.
