An unidentified ex-LMS Stanier 2-8-0 8F is seen at the head of a down goods as it passes through the station on the outside avoiding lines. Robert Stephenson writes, 'the locomotive is carring class K lamps and a train reporting number which I assume is left over from a previous duty.'
