Rugby Station - LMS Period Locomotives: lnwrrm761

A pair of LNWR 4-6-0 Claughton class locomotives No 5929 'JAF Aspinall and unnamed classmate No 6016 stand together on the up lines on 26th March 1932. Number 5929 was built as LNWR No 2395 at Crewe works in September 1916, received its LMS number in February at Crewe works 1927 before being withdrawn in February 1935. Number 6016 was built at Crewe works as LNWR 161 in April 1921, received its LMS number in August 1927 and was withdrawn from service in January 1935.
