Rugby Station - LMS Period Locomotives: lnwrrm791

Ex-LNWR 4-4-2T Precursor Tank No 6820 is seen standing in the Northampton bay at the head of an up local train to Euston via Northampton on 27th August 1938. Built at Crewe works in August 1907 No 6820 was to remain in service until December 1939 when it was withdrawn officially from Crewe North shed to be scrapped shortly afterwards.
