Ex-LNWR 2P Experiment class No 5491 'Prince George' is seen standing light engine on the up through lines within the train shed on 26th March 1932. Built as LNWR No 1135 by Crewe works in September 1907, No 5491 was so numbered by the LMS in March 1927 and remained in service until June 1934 when it was withdrawn to be scrapped shortly afterwards by Crewe works.
