Rugby Station - LMS Period Locomotives: lnwrrm807

LMS 4-6-0 Royal Scot class No 6108 'Seaforth Highlander' in original condition with the Up Royal Scot train on 23rd June 1928. Built by the North British Locomotive in September 1927 No 6108 was rebuilt with the new 2A standard tapered boiler by British Railways in May 1948 and remained in service until January 1963 when it was withdrawn from Carlisle Upperby shed for scrapping at Crewe Works in May 1963.
