Close up of image 'lnwrrm817' showing Clifton Road junction signal cabin which was sited straddling the Northampton line. The signal cabin was replaced during the 1930s, another casualty of the railway's need to reduce costs. Access to the signal cabin was via steps from the Northampton line which in turn could be accessed via steps adjacent to the short spur leading on to the up goods line. The single line off the Market Harborough branch passed to the left of the cabin as is evident by the bracket signals and bridge.
