LNWR 4-4-0 Precursor class No 1297 'Phalaris' pilots an unidentified LNWR 4-6-0 Prince of Wales class locomotive on a down express

LNWR 2P 4-4-0 Precursor class No 1297 'Phalaris' pilots an unidentified LNWR 4-6-0 Prince of Wales class locomotive as it approaches Rugby station on a down express circa 1919-22. Built by Crewe in August 1907 No 1297 was renumbered by the LMS as No 5265 in May 1927 however as it was withdrawn in 1931 it was never numbered in the duplicate list.
