Another view of Rugby's frontage and canopy with a mixture of vehicles in LMS and BR's new corporate livery, 13th April 1954. Whilst at first glance the canopy appears to be the same as that seen in front of the second station it is in fact two bays longer. Close examination shows many detailed similarities with the 1850 station's canopy although the central bay appears to be slightly taller suggesting its one of the two extra bays created. The LNWR was quite astute at reusing all or parts of buildings elsewhere across its network.
