Built at Crewe works in April 1935, No 5006 remained in service until September 1967 when it was withdrawn from Crewe South shed to be scrapped by TW Ward Ltd of Killamarsh in December 1967. Hughes Crab, No 2930, was built at Crewe works in May 1931 and remained in service until August 1961 when it was withdrawn from Canklow shed for scrapping by Horwich works in September 1961.
