Rugby Shed: lnwrrm939

Ex-LNWR 2F 0-6-2T 'Coal Tank' No 7717 stands in store alongside Rugby's Engine Repair Workshop on 24th May 1936. Built as LNWR No 1203 Crewe Works in January 1885 it is believed it was withdrawn shortly after this photograph was taken although reference sources quote its withdrawal as occurring in October 1927 from Abergavenny shed and being scrapped circa 1927 by Crewe works.
