Rugby Shed: lnwrrm940

Ex-LNWR 1P 2-4-2T No 6749 stands alongside ex-LNWR 0-8-0 No 9261 and others in front of No 1 shed on 24th May 1936. Built at Crewe works in May 1897, No 6749 remained in service until it was withdrawn from Rugby's sub-shed Warwick as British Railways No 46749 in February 1952 to be scrapped shortly afterwards by Crewe works.
