View from in front of the sub shed towards the main depot showing a large number of locomotives stabled outside. The first of the two sheds opened in 1876 with the second following soon after. The total number of locomotives Rugby was designed to accommodate was one hundred and twenty with each shed accommodating five locomotives on each of its twelve roads. Rugby was served by two 40 foot turntables.
