Ex-LNWR 2P 0-6-2T No 6927 passes the site of Rotton Park Road station whilst at the head of a short goods train on 12th April 1940. This design of tank locomotive was commonly known as a Watford-Tank and No 6927 was built at Crewe works in June 1902 and remained in service until April 1947 when it was withdrawn from a local shed, 3E Monument Lane.
