Ex-LNWR 7F 0-8-0 'G2a' No 49452 is seen standing in front of Milverton shed with an unidentified ex-LMS Stanier 2-6-2T on 28th September 1956. Built at Crewe shortly before grouping in June 1922 and remaining in service for 40 years, No 49452 was withdrawn in December 1962 from Bescot shed but was then placed in store for nearly eighteen months before being scrapped in June 1964 by J Cashmore of Great Bridge.
