LMS Route: Birmingham New Street to Lichfield

Looking along the down platform towards Sutton Coldfield with Highbridge Road overbridge in the distance. The two original 1862 platform structures are nearest the camera on both platforms whilst the later up platform building is seen on the right midway along the platform. The latter building is not evident on the 1886 Ordnance Survey map but is evident on the 1913 revised Ordnance Survey map. John Alsop dates this photograph as being taken by April 1908.
