Looking towards Camp Hill and Birmingham with Lifford goods yard on the left behind the station's up platform on 1st July 1930. At the far end of the station can be seen the girders of the under road bridge at Lifford Lane. The main station buildings are on the right hand platform are obviously grander compared to the buildings opposite. Lighting appears to be via gas which might reflect the fact that the station was built in 1885 when gas was being introduced whereever practical by all railway companies.
