LMS Route: Evesham to Birmingham

View from the bridge carrying the Birmingham & Gloucester Railway over the original Birmingham West Suburban Railway's line on 10th June 1963. After 26th September 1885 when the route became obsolete the line was used as a long through siding for the transhipment of goods between canal and rail. Bob Essery notes in his book that the layout of the sidings was the same as shown in the 1904 Ordnance Survey albeit they clearly have not been in use for some years.
