This close up of image 'mra463' shows the main portion of the station passenger facilities and booking office which was extended sometime in the 1870s. The door panels appear to be painted in a light colour whilst the rest of the door is in a darker colour. Things to note are the gentlemen’s sign is mounted on a very ornate wrought iron frame, the cast-iron framed bench with 'Alcester' in the back support, the Midland notice board painted in the same light colour as the door panels and the unusual 'support' feature under the window sills.
