Close up of image 'mr545' showing the station's single storey passenger facilities accommodating the booking offices and waiting rooms. Careful examination of the photograph shows the 'join' between the original structure and the extension of the booking office to be located above the white rainwater down pipe guards. It is thought that the building was extended shortly after the Alcester to Redditch section opened in 1868.
