All sidings have been lifted and the yard is now being used to store a variety
of building material including a cable drum and on the extreme right, what
appears to be a stack of terra-cotta cabling ducting. In all probability this
might have been used as part of the signalling upgrade to the route which
occurred when Saltley Power Box was commissioned in September 1969. Note too
the caravan parked in the corner adjacent to the station.
