Close up of image 'mralv606' shows the coal merchants lorry has been reversed at angle to butt against the wagon so that the sacks can be filled direct in lieu of tipping into staithes in the yard. The weighbridge and office is seen to left and rear of the lorry whilst the goods yard is just visible behind the wagons. The timber buildings, which were located at the far end of the yard and bore the name A Fosters and seen in image 'mralv607b' have yet to be erected.
