Ordnance Survey 25 inch to the mile map of Bournville Shed revised in 1914 and published in 1916. When compared to an unrevised map dated 1902 (see 'mrb1548') it becomes apparent that two extra lines were added to the shed layout, probably soon after it opened. One was an access line to or from the yard, avoiding most of the points leading to individual lines in the yard. The other was a through line between the coaling stage and the ash pit lines.
