Bournville station, seen through the arch of the bridge carrying Maryvale Road, on Sunday 12th September 1954. The ticket office was in Bournville Lane, which the railway crossed at the far end of the station. Behind the main 1885 built station buildings, trees screen Cadburys' factory from view. There were steps, just out of view to the left of the photograph, that gave access to a lineside path to the engine shed.
