Ex-LMS 5MT 4-6-0 No 44659 is seen approaching Brickyard Crossing with a direct northbound holiday train bearing the reporting number '1M04'. The train has just passed St Andrews Junction and is just about to pass under the LNWR London to Birmingham line before continuing on to Saltley. The reporting number '1M04' indicates that its the 'Pines Express' running between Bournemouth and Manchester in the days when it ran via the former Somerset & Dorset Railway. On summer Saturdays it would run via Camp Hill and Sutton Park, changing locomotives at Walsall instead of New Street station to help reduce the amount of trains using the station.
