LMS Route: Birmingham New Street to Nuneaton
Castle Bromwich Station: mrcb35
LMS 4P Compound 4-4-0 No 1162 stands light engine on one of
the two up refuge sidings at Castle Bromwich. Built by the British North
Locomotive Company in September 1925, No 1162 was to remain in service until
June 1960 when it was withdrawn from Rugby shed.
