A June 1966 view of the rebuilt Central Goods Station's warehouse and goods yard with the metal shed on the left. There were twenty-three sets of sidings of different lengths in total with three extended inside the warehouse plus another two being sited under the canopy on the side of the building. The new single-storey warehouse had its internal sidings re-configured. Whereas originally there were three sidings located in the centre this was now changed to two, whilst a new siding on the left running parallel to the wall, was added. This siding was extended for most of the length of the building whilst the two central sidings were only approximately half the length. For additional information on the layout of the goods yard see image 'mrcgy909'.
