Close up of image 'mrch359' showing the timber framed and clad passenger building located on Camp Hill station's down platform. The four chimney stacks show that there were at least four separate rooms, accommodating in all probability the same passenger facilities seen in image 'mrch1425', a Ladies First Class Room, a Gentlemen's First Class Room, with a general waiting room/booking hall for third class passengers. The door on the gable ended of room nearest the camera has the legend 'Booking Office For Excursion Passengers Only. At the very far end of the building a signboard located next to the lamp can be seen. This indicated the location of the Gentlemen's urinals and would be accessed direct from the platform whereas the ladies toilets would be adjacent to the ladies waiting room and accessed internally.
