LMS Route: Hampton in Arden to Whitacre

Coleshill (Maxstoke) Station: mrcm387

View of the station now renamed Maxstoke and operated only as a goods facility. Colin Maggs in his book 'Branch Lines of Warwickshire' describes the above as being in an abandoned condition. However the station appears to still retain the fire buckets on the far wall, the small wall mounted box with sloping roof fixed to the side of the waiting room door is still evident and the station in general is both well maintained and in a very clean condition. The lamppost adjacent to the wooden pole can be seen more clearly. Post-1923
