Bob Essery records in his book on the line that Percy was to go on to be stationmaster at Reditch. In the above photograph Percy is still wearing his LMS uniform, leaving Bob to speculate whether Percy had yet to receive his British Railway's uniform despite it being four years since the railway's nationalised.
