A view of the station looking towards Studley and Astwood Bank showing the curve of the line and the goods yard. The end dock was at the far end of the station opposite the ground frame. There were two entrances to the station, the main access being gained from the access road which ran from the platform past the house (built in the 1920s) on the left to Sambourne Road. The other was via a path from the bridge carrying Sambourne Road over the railway. The path ran between the fence and the hedge seen on the left partially lit by the lamppost seen on the pathway. 21st June 1952
