LMS Route: Evesham to Birmingham

Schematic drawing showing the juxtaposition of the Midland Railway and Great Western Railway stations at Evesham. As seen the two stations duplicated each other's services both having cattle pens, landing docks, goods sheds, locomotive sheds, and passenger services, albeit their routes were different but a joint station would have made much more economic sense. Under British Railways ownership some rationalisation was achieved when the Western Region organisaed staff to man both stations.
