LMS Route: Evesham to Birmingham

The 1890 schematic drawing of the signalling diagram showing the installation of two new signal boxes and the block telegraph working between them. The drawing also shows the connection with the GWR, it ran to the siding which terminated in the landing dock at the west end of the up platform as seen in image 'mre552'. Bob Essery states in his book that the above diagram shows a MR disc controlling the siding at the Ashchurch end not being numbered. This being because this ground signal was controlled from the Stage (not shown) and not the signal box. Bob Essery notes too that this is the earliest file on Evesham to survive at the Public Records Office at Kew.
