LMS Stanier 3MT 2-6-2T No 117 leaves Five Ways station with the 6.43 pm Birmingham to Redditch local passenger service circa 1936. The freight train on the upper level is on the goods only line which ran through on separate spur to the old MR Central Goods Yard. Built at Derby works in August 1935 No 117 remained in service until it was withdrawn in November 1962 from Scarborough shed to be scrapped shortly afterwards.
