LMS Route: Evesham to Birmingham
Hazelwell Station: mrhaz844
View of the exterior of Hazelwell station on 27th August
1961 which fronted on to Cartland Road. The chimney on the building is the same
as those on the platforms as seen in image 'mrhaz521b'. This photograph shows that the road
bridge, when built after the First World War, was reached by the road rising on
either side and a hump given to the bridge to pass over the railway. Until this
bridge was built the only way to cross the railway at this point was via the
footbridge seen to its left.
