Ex-LMS 8F 2-8-0 No 48424 passes Halesowen Junction Signal Box at Longbridge on 4th December 1964. The train will be taking the Camp Hill line at Kings Norton Station and is probably heading for Washwood Heath. The 8F was at this time allocated to 2A Tyseley shed. Built at Swindon works in December 1943, No 48424 remained in service until February 1968 when it was withdrawn from 9L Buxton shed to be scrapped by G Cohen of Kettering.
