View of the approach from the village to Harvington station and its single siding with passing loop and goods yard. The photographer is facing towards Redditch and is standing on Anchor Lane which crossed the railway on his right at the southern end of the station. Bob Essery states in his book on this line, that the corrugated iron hut under the tree was of a type often used as a lamp room or store and speculates as to what is its purposewas at the time of the photograph , private or railway.
