LMS Route: Evesham to Birmingham

Harvington Station: mrhv572

Looking southwards to Evesham and Harvington station from along side the passing loop. The ground signal on the left would have controlled trains bound for Evesham exiting from the loopline. The weighbridge can be seen in the distance on the extreme right of the photograph. The signal box on the left would have controlled all signalling in the area and, because it was a block post, was manned twenty-four hours a day despite the yard being open during normal business hours.
